Sports bar by day, laid-back Bar, Grill & lounge by night, Sweetwater’s may be cozy, but the owner have filled this intimate setting to the brim with loungy banquettes and high-top tables.  A bar made from an elm tree section, horizontal wood panels and low lighting add a sophisticated, rustic element to this bar and lounge, which offers bottled, draft beer, signature cocktails and great food.
 
The folks behind Sweetwater’s Bar, Grill and Lounge, located at 2576 Third Avenue in the Bronx at 139th Street, New York City, have outdone themselves re-envisioning this unique Bronx gem.  This all-in-one food, live entertainment and karaoke lounge continued the name from the old Manhattan Sweetwaters, back in the '70s and '80s when Manhattan lounge and bar entertainment was so exciting and affordable.
 
Don't expect any scantily clad cigarette girls roaming this floor.  The owner of the Sweetwater’s Bar, Grill and Lounge aim for a familiar Soho neighborhood feel complete with old nautical lights, a dark wood interior and natural earth colored brick walls.  They are truly “Bringing a Little Soho to the SoBro.”  There are also three plasma TVs and old school DJs on Saturday & Friday nights.  For those who believe in lining their stomachs as they enjoy fantastic cocktails, expect popular food menu items from the small but clever kitchen, such as fried shrimp, buffalo chicken wings and their signature soups of the day just a few from their extended menu.  The Soho sidewalk café atmosphere doubles the seating space during warmer months for the diverse crowd of patrons.
